My personal projects offer a window into my passions and interests, showcasing the work I’ve pursued over the years. AI and mathematics have always been constants in my journey, fueling my curiosity and driving many of these endeavors. Personally and professionally, I have worked with a broad range of technologies, gaining diverse skills.
I am open to building most technical projects, and I can find exciting things in pretty much anything, but I want to be clear about the things that I am not interested in. Ultimately, I want to use my talent to further humanity. At the risk of sounding corny, I am an idealist at heart, and I want to reach a future like the one depicted in sci-fi movies and shows like Star Trek.
I do not believe blockchain and cryptocurrency has any real valuable applications, other than tax evasion. I know there are many proponents of them, and I think I understand the basic concept of how they work. I thought about it a lot, and I still fail to find any real uses other than tax evasion. I am not interested in breaking the law, or even being in the vicinity of such actions. I remember one exception, a storage management company, selling storage using some blockchain technology. Such cases can be handled much more efficiently without the use of blockchain. There really is no need for it as far as I can see.
I love the math involved in cryptography, and my deep commitment to integer factorization comes from that, but I strive for a future with peace, where everything is open. I do not want to use my talents to hide stuff. In the same vein, I despise hackers. I do not understand how someone can use their talents to destroy value, rather than building things. I am knowledgeable about security best practices, but I would rather not work in security exclusively. I protect the systems I build and run audits. That's about as much I want to be involved with security.
I do not have a lot of experience with embedded systems, so if you are looking for a hardware product integrated with some software logic, I am probably not your best bet. I would love to work on FPGAs, Robotics, IoT, chip design, etc. but unfortunately my career has taken a different turn, and it is difficult to make such a transition. I do believe that the future will require more and more such projects, and I am excited to see if I can be part of the robot revolution.
